WHY IS THAT NUMBER SO IMPORTANT TO YOU?
Let’s face it. You have a number that will solve all your problems. It’s January so we set goals that we want to achieve. Very often there is a number attached to it. We want to loose weight, make a certain amount of money and maybe grow our audience on Instagram to a special size. But why does that number matter so much to you?
I love watching videos by Gary Vee on how he talk about that you have to love the downside as much as the upside of being an entrepreneur. If you only are in it for the money you will be unhappy. If you look at it like you do this because you love it, it will be successful.
So ask yourself why does that number matter so much? Why is it important? Is it to impress people that you don’t know or that you not even like so you will be validated? Isn’t that stupid?
Are you setting that goal because of YOU or because of THEM? That is the real question.
In the end money and fame and fortune and looks does not matter. What really matter is that you are happy, that you create a life that you love and that you can give your kids a legacy so they can do the same. If you give value to people on a everyday basis, is that not enough? And all those influencers on Instagram that you might look up to, how do they actually influence? By pushing more products and services to the market place, thing that we actually don’t need. How much more makeup can a girl want? Or how many designer shoes will bring you joy?
You have to go deep into your soul and ask yourself why that number matter. If you loose 5 kilos what will happen to you? And if you do not loose it what does that say about you?
If you never reach 10K or 100K months, what does that say about your as a person? Will you matter less than those who do? And who are you here to influences on Instagram? How many more perfect bodies and faces can the world handle? Is that what we want to tell our girls that really will make them happy? That looks matter more than being kind and friendly?
The number actually say nada about you as a person. Those who loves you will still love you even if you did not loose 5 kilo, make 20K months and have 100K followers on Instagram. It does not matter in the end.
You are here to make and impact, be happy, live your life to the fullest. Focus on that regardless on the number. A number is just a number. You are precious to those around you that loves you just for the person you are.
And last but not least, love yourself. Why go around and hating that person you hang around with 24/7? Ok?
