I want you to meet one of my friends who is a professional of 30 years in a non-traditional field. As woman and single mom, Megan chose to follow her heart and her dream to be a part of the aerospace community. She has worked as an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, in Quality Assurance, Technical Instructor and a Customer Service Representative. Megan’s highest priority is to spend time with her son, Shaun. She juggled her schedule to make this possible. Together they have enjoyed river rafting, cycling, swimming and she loves to read adventure stories to him. Shaun is the joy of her life!
Megan has a great passion to help other women in non-traditional fields to find their way to success. She is strongly bonded to single moms and identifies with the challenges they face to keep a balanced life and be available and present for their children.
Megan has decided to take on the unique position of exploring what it means to be a woman in non-traditional fields. She recognizes the exclusive make up of women who enter these arenas. Every woman has a unique story to tell. She has lived the life!
